Youth group
Being a teenager comes with big questions, changing relationships, and plenty of pressure. Our Sunday Night Youth Group gives students a place to pause, connect with others, and talk honestly about life and faith. Here, teens are welcomed as they are, with their personalities, questions, struggles, and hopes for the future.
We explore Scripture together and consider what following Jesus looks like in the situations students actually face. How do we respond when a friendship gets complicated? What do we do when our beliefs are challenged? How can we handle pressure, make thoughtful choices, and treat people with grace? Our conversations invite students to think deeply, ask difficult questions, and develop their own understanding of the Christian faith.
Sunday nights also make room for laughter, friendship, and the encouragement that comes from sharing life with others. We want teens to find people they can trust—friends and caring adults who will listen, take them seriously, and remind them that they don’t have to navigate everything alone.
Our church’s mission, “Go, love, and do,” challenges us to carry those conversations beyond our time together. We encourage students to pay attention to the world around them and respond with compassion and courage. That might mean speaking up for someone being mistreated, welcoming a classmate, serving a neighbor, or choosing kindness when it would be easier to walk away.
Teens are an important part of the church right now. Their ideas, gifts, and perspectives matter, and we want them to have opportunities to contribute and grow. Our hope is that Sunday Night Youth Group helps students develop a lasting relationship with Jesus, meaningful connections with others, and the confidence to live out their faith wherever life takes them.
Our youth group meets at from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the church. If you have a teen who would like to attend but needs transportation, please call us at 606-723-4259 and leave a message letting us know!
